Minority Language Transmission in Early Childhood.
Siren, Ulla
International Journal of Early Years Education, v3 n2 p75-84 Sum 1995
Investigated parents' transmission of minority language in Sweden to map parental intentions during pregnancy and analyze parental language use with their children. Found most parents are willing and able to continue to speak their minority languages with their children, but it is questionable whether this is sufficient for language transmission. (AP)
