Family Conflict and Adolescent Adjustment in Intact, Divorced, and Blended Families.
Borrine, M. Lisa; And Others
Journal of Consulting and Clinical Psychology, v59 n5 p753-55 Oct 1991
Examined two contrasting views of how parental marital status relates to long-term adjustment of children. Results of analyses on white adolescents (n=917) from intact, divorced, and blended families failed to support physical wholeness position; rather, results supported psychological wholeness position. Adolescents' adjustment was related to level of perceived family conflict. (Author/NB)
