Social Work and the Liberal Arts: Renewing the Commitment.
Reid, P. Nelson; Peebles-Wilkins, Wilma
Journal of Social Work Education, v27 n2 p208-19 Spr-Sum 1991

Social work is seen as applied human values, therefore intertwined with the liberal arts. It is proposed that social work education recast and strengthen its relationship with the liberal arts.
