Misconceptions Tests or Misconceived Tests?
Griggs, Richard A.; Ransdell, Sarah E.
Teaching of Psychology, v14 n4 p210-14 Dec 1987
States that taking a high school psychology course did not improve the performance of college students in an introductory psychology class on a modified version of Vaughan's misconceptions test (Test of Common Beliefs). Concludes that while college experience did lead to some improvement, comparison with other studies indicates that perhaps the test itself is misconceived. (Author/GEA)
