Psychoeducation is a therapeutic approach under which the psychological practitioner's functioning is viewed not in terms of abnormality diagnoses, prescription, therapy, cure; but rather in terms of client dissatisfaction, goal-setting, skill-teaching, satisfaction or goal achievement.
