Because adult education in Sweden may not be lessening the gap between students and the working population and between younger and older generations as well, recurrent education is viewed as an answer to this dilemma. This approach could help in the pursuit of equality in society, and, further, make the educational choice less dramatic and decisive for youth. (Author)
