The first section covers educational agencies, associations, and resources. A brief annotated bibliography describes 10 books for educators. Contact information is provided for the Board of Public Education, the Certification Standards and Practices Advisory Council, education program offices of the Bureau of Indian Affairs, tribal education directors, Johnson O'Malley program administrators, the Montana Advisory Council for Indian Education, MEA/MFT (Montana Education Association/Montana Federation of Teachers) field offices and minority affairs caucus, the Montana-Wyoming Indian Education Association Board of Directors, national Indian education organizations, and departments of the Montana Office of Public Instruction.
