El Libro de la Escritura por Pinguino Tinto (The Writing Book, by Inky Penguin).
Presented completely in Spanish and intended for elementary level students, this book offers 12 writing ideas and several suggestions on how students can make a book using their writing. Each writing idea is presented with a brief description (addressed to the student), several examples of student writing, and a blank page on which to write. Writing ideas include freewriting, describing, acrostics, haiku, and remembering. Suggestions for making a book include ideas on how to illustrate written work; a set of stencils is located on the back cover. A glossary of terms, a list of books on writing, and a questionnaire for evaluating this book are provided. (NKA)
