America's 21st Century School: Linking Education Reform and Technology.

This document draws on both research and practical experience in order to develop a technology system to serve the K-12 community for the next 5 to 10 years. The study offers its design based on projections of where technological advances will intersect with the evolution of the school system. Discussion focuses on technology's role in creating a society of lifelong learners as well as creating schools which tailor education to different developmental stages and learning approaches, nurture student-centered knowledge, and reach beyond their own walls for novel educational partnerships.
