This directory lists educational and work-study projects that are available to minority students. It lists programs targeted for students, their parents, guidance counselors, and supervisors to help with the search for the appropriate educational or training assistance vehicle. Programs are grouped in the following categories: (1) internships; (2) scholarships; (3) precollege programs; (4) sources of information; and (5) efforts of the National Urban League. Each entry explains what the program does, who is eligible, and how to apply. A summary index assists in locating the programs. (SLD)
