Pittsburg State University Development Achievements for Fiscal Year 1993.

This report presents the major Development Achievements for Fiscal Year (FY) 1993 of Pittsburg State University (PSU) in Kansas and provides a comparison with 150 other comprehensive public universities reporting to the Council for Aid to Education (CFAE). Among its conclusions are that PSU ranked 27th (top 18 percent) among the comparable institutions in total private support ($3.6 million), that PSU experienced increased effectiveness in solicitation from alumni donors (20 percent of total private support), and that business support amounted to 29 percent of total private support. Chapters devoted to annual giving and planned giving as well as the PSU Foundation provide further information about development activities. Development plans for fiscal year 1994 are also presented.
