This packet contains 14 lesson plans for integrated academic and vocational education courses. Lesson plans for the following courses are included: integrated physics and principles of technology; algebra and principles of technology; principles of technology, language arts, and economics; physics and industrial electronics; physics and microcomputer applications; algebra and microcomputer applications; electronics and algebra; algebra and manufacturing systems; language arts and microcomputer applications; economics and microcomputer applications; and government, language arts, and microcomputer applications. Some of the topics covered are as follows: power of a flywheel, determining the slope of a line, governing engine speed, sources of electricity, graphing data, functions, scientific notation, fractions applied to the design of a prototype, direct and inverse variation, electronic components for building a radio, writing business letters, stock market analysis by graphs or charts, selecting a store location, and producing effective campaign communications. Lesson plans consist of lesson objectives, competencies, teaching aids, materials needed, activities, presentation, application, tests, and (sometimes) extension activities and references.
