Produced for a faculty development colloquium at the City University of New York (CUNY), this annotated bibliography includes abstracts of a total of 108 papers and monographs in the following areas: (1) theoretical background on visual and information literacy; (2) research on merging technologies and instruction; (3) library applications of technology, including online catalogs, CD-ROM, the Internet, Hypertext, and virtual reality; and (4) multimedia programs. A copy of the program for the colloquium, which represented an alliance of CUNY computing, media, and information professionals, is included.
