Workshop on Teaching Canada for K-12 Teachers.
University of Southern California, Los Angeles. Center for Public Education in International Affairs.
These materials were designed for K-12 teachers interested in including Canada in the curriculum. The materials were developed to provide students with a basic level of familiarity about Canadian politics, history, culture, economic conditions, and relationship to the United States. Two classroom activities are provided for the elementary level and two for the secondary level. A list of books about Canada for children, selected activity and reference books on Canada, an information organization list, and a list of associations concerned with Canadian studies are included.
