It also includes procedures for handling damaged materials that have been tried and accepted by many conservators and institutions concerned with the safety and care of library materials. Appendixes include the floor plan for the first floor; the procedures for handling damaged books and records (i.e., air drying, dehumidification, freezer drying, vacuum thermal-drying, and vacuum freeze-drying); and a form for recording disaster recovery activities for the library collections.
