This document is the tenth publication of a comprehensive data book by the Illinois Community College Board (ICCB). The document contains data and characteristics of the Illinois public community college system and is designed to serve as a basic reference. No analysis of the data is provided in the document. The data were obtained from various surveys and studies conducted by ICCB staff and from the colleges' annual MIS submissions. The document is divided into five major sections, providing information about students, faculty and staff, annual enrollments, operating finance, and facilities data. The document contains annual data for fiscal year 1989 and fall term data for 1989 (fiscal year 1990). Enrollment data, faculty and staff data, budgeted operating finance data, and facilities data use fiscal year 1990 data, while fiscal year 1989 data is used for audited financial data, unit cost data, annual enrollments, and graduate data. Several tables summarize data from more detailed reports which have been published separately. (JMC)
