This guide is intended as an introduction to published government information on the issue of terrorism. The selections are meant to indicate the range of the abundance of materials available and the variety of government agencies concerned with the topic. Devoted to the general topic of government information, the initial sections of the guide suggest the scope of such information, the variety of its producers, and some of the pitfalls and obstacles associated with its retrieval. Indexing and abstracting services are discussed in some detail and ordering information is provided. A review of the literature on terrorism sets out some of the fundamental aspects of the issue.
