This packet contains the four issues of a newsletter published in 1989 by the Adult Literacy & Basic Skills Unit in England. In the Autumn issue, the following articles are included: "ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages): A Nation's Neglect"; "Going Dutch!"; "National Writing Festival"; and "DART (Directed Activities Related to Text)--Developing Independent Readers."
