The following areas are addressed and examples of solutions proposed: hygienic aids (hot water adaptations, travel adaptations, bath hoists, toothbrushing); eating aids (bib laundering, insufficient fluids, dining chairs); sleeping aids (vertical adjustment capability, shaped supports); communication aids (comprehension difficulties, insecurity at night, TV and radio); sitting aids (improved wheelchairs, head support, the need for stimulation); mobility aids (electrical wheelchairs, specially made overalls, car transport); and recreational aids (outdoor bathing, swings, the role of music). Notes on appearance of the aids and their storage conclude the report. (CL)
