This document is a collection of statistical information describing some of the more important characteristics of individual schools in the Dade County Public School system. A profile sheet is presented for each individual school providing statistics on school, staff, and student characteristics and student achievement information. General information about the school such as address, telephone number, principal's name, grade organization, and the administrative area and the U.S. Congressional District in which school is located is provided. Also included on the profile sheet are school characteristics, staff characteristics, faculty experience/education, student characteristics, instructional microcomputers, average class size, attendance rate, percent per/free reduced lunch, students with limited English proficiency, number of graduates (for high schools), full-time equivalent (FTE) students, and average cost per FTE student. On the reverse side of each school's profile sheet is a summary of student achievement as measured by the Stanford Achievement Test and the State Student Assessment Test. Data are provided on the number of students tested and the media percentile for the Stanford, and the average percent achieving mastery on the State test. (BW)
