Color Your Classroom II. A Math Curriculum Guide.

This math curriculum guide, correlated with the numerical coding of the Math Skills List published by the Migrant Student Record Transfer System, covers 10 learning areas: readiness, number meaning, whole numbers, fractions, decimals, percent, measurement, geometry, probability and statistics, and sets. Each exercise is illustrated by a large drawing and contains a skill code, an objective, directions, and follow-up activities. For example, in the percent section, the definition exercise is Pencilling Percents; conversion exercises are Converting to Music and Triple Yolk; calculations exercises are In the Pocket--with Percents and Clearance Sale; and applications exercises are An X or an O and Sky High Prices. The readiness section contains three recognition of properties exercises, three divisions within properties exercises, four comparisons within properties exercises, two partitioning (grouping) exercises, and two ordering exercises. The guide includes 3 exercises for number meaning, 31 exercises for whole numbers, 19 exercises for fractions, 10 exercises for decimals, 16 exercises for measurement, 5 exercises for geometry, 3 exercises for probablility and statistics, and 4 exercises for sets.
