This study guide is designed for individuals preparing to take the Georgia Teacher Certification Test (TCT) for media specialists. It provides two kinds of information--narratives and bibliographic references. Content objectives are covered for the areas of: (1) management and organization; (2) personnel administration; (3) instruction and curriculum; (4) teaching strategies; (5) study, reference, and research; and (6) selection of materials. Narratives comprise the first part of the study guide, and are arranged according to the six subareas of the test. Each narrative section includes a synopsis of the content of the subarea, brief descriptions of state services or professional activities, and a listing of authors whose works can provide further information on the topic.
