Hewes, Dorothy W.; And Others
Pros and cons of family-related benefits from both the employee's and the employer's viewpoints are first delineated in this transcription summarizing symposium presentations. Subsequent addresses focus on (1) the acceptability, availability, and affordability of employer-supported day care (in slide/cassette format); (2) reasons for and ways of providing flexible compensation and benefits; and (3) work time options, including part-time, job-sharing, and flextime employment. Also included are a report on the National Employer Supported Child Care Project and a discussion of child care options for employers and families in San Diego County. (RH)
