A process is illustrated for cooperative sharing by sending schools and vocational centers pertinent records and information concerning the strengths, weaknesses, learning styles, and special needs of students who are sent to vocational center programs. Need for a record exchange process is discussed, with particular attention given to the importance of prevocational information. The sequence of the record exchange process is outlined. Four forms that are elements of the record exchange process are then provided: the Prevocational Performance Record, the Prevocational Assessment Report, the Vocational Education Plan for the Individualized Education Program, and the Progress Report.
