This fact sheet describes vocational education within historical and legislative perspectives, focusing on how the components of vocational education programs can be adapted to include disabled students. Examples from a variety of postsecondary programs illustrate how assessment, curriculum modifications, devices and technology, testing, and job development have been made accessible to students with disabilities.
