This course, developed from military curriculum materials for use in vocational and technical education, is designed to provide training in the skills and knowledge necessary to perform as a trainer in on-the-job training programs (OJT). The package includes information on the role of OJT, how to conduct training, evaluation techniques, and demonstration/performance exercises. Included in the course is an OJT training chart with instructions for use. Another component of the package, the Handbook for Air Force Instructors, is a general instructional guide that can be used for teaching any course. The areas covered in the handbook are lesson planning, lesson development, instructional methods and media, evaluation, and the student as an individual. Materials in the course package include lesson plans with objectives and evaluation criteria, information sheets, test items, and audiovisual aids. (KC)
