The report discusses facets of Afghan life and culture, including religion, personal relationships, family structure, and male-female relations; describes differences in Afghan and American lifestyles; and explains Afghan patterns of thinking and behavior that may influence their personal interactions, adjustment to work situations, and ways of dealing with different aspects of life in the United States.
