The responses of elementary and secondary school teachers and community members in Pine Bluff (Arkansas) regarding a local Teacher Corps project are presented in this report. The first part of the report gives a summary of the teachers' responses to 31 questions dealing with participant characteristics and degree of satisfaction with specific project activities, such as the Program for Effective Teaching and skills for working in multicultural classrooms. A summary for this section of the study presents an analysis of the results, noting the high rating given the project by the teachers. Part II of the report summarizes community members' awareness and perceptions of the project and presents sample comments. (FG)
