Becoming an Inner-Directed Child: A Manual with Developmental Skills and Activities for Three-to-Six Year Olds.
Bradshaw, Susan
This manual includes sequential skills and activities to enhance the development of three- to five-year-old children. Part 1, the introduction, provides brief descriptions of the social, emotional, and moral stages of growth in preschool children, explaining some of the terms commonly associated with each area. Activities appropriate for the child's level of development are provided in part 2 for each of the three areas. Lists of large and small equipment, recommended pets and plants, books for children, and books for parents and teachers are provided in part 3. Finally, in part 4, a bibliography is given of other sources of information and activities in the areas covered, as well as in other areas relevant to the development of young children. (MP)
