Law and the Adminstration of Justice. Final Report.
Chicago Board of Education, IL. Dept. of Research and Evaluation.
"Law and the Adminstration of Justice" is a Title IVc three-year project funded by the Federal government and coordinated by the Board of Education, City of Chicago. The overall goal of the project was to provide high school students with an opportunity to learn about and be involved with various aspects of our judicial system. The project offered a diverse set of learning experiences, ranging from in-class instruction to student directed workshops and seminars. While pre- and posttest and student survey data reveal statistically significant results favoring the project, the various instruments used to measure cognitive and affective dimensions proved to be defective. Consequently, the Title IVc project could not be properly validated. (Author/APM)
