An assessment was designed to ascertain student status in the psychomotor, cognitive, and affective domains of physical education, and to survey the physical education programs and instructional practices through the use of student, parent, teacher, and administrator questionnaires. This assessment was conducted throughout the province of British Columbia at the third, seventh, and eleventh grade levels. This resource package is a result of the assessment. This package has been prepared not only as a means of distributing the results of the student testing component, but also as a means of making the survey instruments available for classroom use. The third grade student testing component included psychomotor items, cognitive items, and attitude inventories. Resource materials include: (1) a listing of the goals and learning outcomes which formed the basis of the assessment; (2) copies of all written instruments; (3) protocols for all pyschomotor items; (4) instructions for administering all items; and (5) provincial results and the acceptable ranges set by the interpretation panels.
