An in-depth evaluation of four Organization of American States educational journals is presented. The journals, published for distribution among Latin American countries, were "Tecnologia Educativa", "Curriculum", "Educacion de Adultors", and "La Educacion". Assessment was made of the journals' mandates, implementation procedures, and managerial procedures. Critical discussion is offered on each journal in the following areas: (1) periodicity; (2) content; (3) duplication; (4) language policy; (5) promotion; (6) distribution; (7) costs; and (8) management. Specific recommendations for improvements in each of these areas for each journal are outlined. The questionnaire used to obtain data for this survey is appended. (JD)
