Section 2, Giving Reasons, includes a discussion of rules for giving oral reasons, how to take notes and outline reasons, and judging terms and how they are used in giving reasons. In addition, a sample set of reasons is provided. The final two sections describe procedures for grading slaughter cattle and feeder cattle. Tables for calculating beef cattle grades are appended.
