Vocational Assessment of Special Needs Individuals Project: Final Report. Phase II.
Stodden, Robert A.
The Vocational Assessment of Special Needs Individuals Project originated with the regional vocational schools and educational collaboratives of the Assabet and Blackstone Valleys cooperating to determine a meaningful process through which vocational assessment information could be collected, organized, and used in formulating a basis for conceptual model components. This report describes the development of an operational focus for the assessment process, and the sequencing of activities and products necessary to prepare that focus for later field test and replication within other educational settings in The Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Each product is briefly described to provide the reader with the necessary information to ascertain purpose and utilization. The final portion of the report offers evaluative feedback regarding the pilot test of the assessment process, with recommendations for Phase III field test and expansion of the project focus.
