Les aspects psycholinguistiques de la suggestopedie appliquee a l'enseignement des langues (Psycholinguistic Aspects of Suggestopedia as Applied to Language Instruction).
This article elucidates suggestopedia from both a linguistic and a pedagogical point of view. The introduction deals with psycholinguistics in order to establish a connection between the psychology of language, the philosophy of language, and the general theory of suggestion (suggestology). Suggestopedia is seen as bringing to bear on methodology modern psycholinguistic principles that are capable of renovating educational theory by virtue of both their global orientation and the concrete techniques available for use in the classroom. Working from general to particular concerns, the paper presents suggestopedia, as applied to the teaching of languages, as a very valuable psychopedagogical innovation. (Author/JB)
