The resource file contains information on learning activities, materials, and equipment to help teach severely multiply handicapped students individually or in small or large groups. Tables for each objective outline materials needed and procedures for the following areas: self care (knowledge and concepts, cleanliness, eating, dressing, toileting and health skills, grooming, safety skills); language and communication (listening, receptive language/vocabulary development, spoken language, written language, nonverbal communication); sensory motor (sensory, position in space, motor coordination, physical education, recreation); arithmetic (counting and numeral recognition, quantitative concepts, addition and subtraction, money concepts, time, measurement, numbers for personal identification); interpersonal relationships (self realization, social interaction, social competencies, emotional reactions); fine arts (art and craft production, music, dance, and drama); and practical arts and occupational skills (housekeeping, homemaking, yardwork and maintenance, shop, vocational skills).
