The final document in a series on career education for exceptional students is designed to help educators locate and make use of resources available in the community. Authors include specific strategies, sample letters, and lists of common community resources. A question-answer format is used to address such topics as ways in which community resources contribute to classroom instruction, reasons why community representatives become involved with the school, and preparation for using community resources. Briefly considered are cultural institutions, service clubs, and governmental agencies. A list of 10 steps to follow in resource procurement concludes the booklet. (SBH)
