Operating and Evaluating Programs. Systematic Planning Series for Local Education Agencies. Monograph Number 7.
Boone, Lee; And Others
Implementing an educational program on time is not as important as being properly prepared for implementation. The responses to a number of key questions can reveal whether the program has been adequately planned. Once the program is in operation it must be effectively evaluated. Successful evaluation requires a systematic, clear procedure that is easy to use, that allows evaluation during program operation, that examines program effectiveness and the achievement of objectives, and that provides information for future planning. This document includes worksheets and questions that provide the basic necessities for an evaluation procedure. (Author/PGD)
