This report covers the activities of a program designed to strengthen traditional career planning services, to augment the liberal arts program, and to integrate students' educational and vocational development. A review and evaluation are included for: (1) major program components, i.e., student workshops, faculty efforts, practicums, and the resource center; (2) pilot group data and research findings; (3) the program's impact on placement and academic programs; and (4) dissemination programs. A model for defining the elements of an effective career preparation program within a small liberal arts institution is also provided. (Author/HLM)
