This individualized learning module on parallel alternating current resistive-reaction circuits is one in a series of modules for a course in basic electricity and electronics. The course is one of a number of military-developed curriculum packages selected for adaptation to vocational instructional and curriculum development in a civilian setting. Six lessons are included in the module: (1) Solving for Quantities in Resistive Inductive Parallel Circuits, (2) Variational Analysis of Resistive-Inductive Parallel Circuits, (3) Parallel Resistive-Capacitive and Resistive-Capacitive-Inductive Alternating Current Circuits, (4) Parallel Resonance, (5) Effective Resistance in Parallel Resistive Inductive Circuits, and (6) Parallel Resonance Experiment. Each lesson follows a typical format including a lesson overview, a list of study resources, the lesson content, a programmed instruction section, and a lesson summary.
