Funding for Women's Educational Equity.
Hunter, Lisa, Ed.; Marzone, Jean, Ed.
This publication grew out of a symposium--"Funding for Women with a Special Emphasis on Sources for Women's Educational Equity"--held in San Francisco, California, in 1979. It consists of 10 papers by 10 women who discuss funding for educational research and development projects concerned with sex equity. The papers encourage women to seek funds for their own projects. Four of the papers provide an overview of grant writing and fund raising. The other six papers describe the policies and priorities for funding women's projects for the Women's Bureau of the Department of Labor, the Fund for the Improvement of Postsecondary Education, the National Institute of Education, the National Science Foundation, the Women's Educational Equity Act Program, and the Ford Foundation.
