This guide is one of a four-book series on female development designed to provide a model for a sex-fair graduate training program in counseling, educational psychology, and career education. It focuses on the female experience in America, especially developmental, psychological, counseling and career/life style issues. This book is divided into four major units: (1) female development, psychologically and physically; (2) career patterns and life styles; (3) feminist approaches to counseling and therapy; and (4) critical counseling issues facing women such as depression, divorce, widowhood, abuse, and physical health. The lesson format includes a rationale, learning objectives and activities, facilitator instructions, and suggested references.
