Motivating the Reluctant Student: Strategies and Teaching Materials.
Linville, Malcolm E.; Belt, Jacqueline
This presentation is concerned with a variety of ways to motivate the reluctant urban student. Nine examples are used to demonstrate how research on motivation can be used to improve classroom teaching techniques. The strategies and materials which are presented can be modified for use at various grade levels and are designed to encourage further explorations in imaginative teaching on the part of the teacher.
