This report, like its companion EPIE Report 90m, "Classroom Management, Motivation, Individualized Instruction," draws on the experience of the National Education Association's (NEA) three-year study of inservice materials. By presenting the product descriptions of those inservice materials most frequently ordered over the length of the study, these two EPIE reports provide a sense of what teachers are looking for in inservice materials. Seventeen product descriptions are provided: one each in Assessing Student Growth, and Special Education; two each in English Language Arts, Teaching Strategies, and Mathematics; and nine in Reading. Also included is an annotated bibliography of ERIC-entered inservice product descriptions. The listed products number 111 of the 150 that the NEA entered into the ERIC system for meeting the criteria of "comprehensive inservice program and validation performed among practicing classroom teachers." A list of distributors, with addresses and phone numbers, is number-keyed to the annotated list and appears immediately before it. (Author/MLF)
