Third-Party Evaluation 1977-1978 of the ACCTion Consortium: A Technical Assistance Project for Two-Year Institutions. Volume II: Appendixes.
Enterprises for New Directions, Inc., Washington, DC.
The Association of Community Colleges Trustees (ACCTion) Consortium consists of 114 two-year colleges nationwide receiving technical assistance funded through Title III of the Higher Education Act. Activities are coordinated through four regional centers, each with a specific topic area, including community services, instruction, resource development, and student development services. In accordance with federally mandated evaluation requirements, Enterprises for New Directions, Inc., (END) was requested to conduct a summative, external evaluation of the 1977-78 ACCTion Consortium. This second volume of the evaluation report contains seven appendices to the first volume (ED 176 819). They include: (1) survey forms and cover and follow-up letters sent to ACCTion coordinators, chief campus administrative officers, center staff members, advisory board members, and ACCTion coordinating office staff; (2) guidelines for ACCTion center site visits; (3) interview questionnaires used with ACCTion coordinators and chief campus administrative officers; (4) a list of institutions whose personnel were interviewed; (5) an explanation of the process for the selection of the external evaluator, END's capability statement, and END's project team; (6) case studies of institutions affiliated with ACCTion for three years; and (7) tables showing responses to surveys.
