Internal Evaluation of the Northline-University of Washington Teacher Certification Consortium.

A report is given of an evaluation of a consortium comprised of two suburban school districts, their respective professional teacher associations, and the University of Washington College of Education. This teacher education program is performance-based and field-oriented. The program, its rationale and development, are described, and actively involved personnel are listed with roles and responsibilities identified. An analysis is presented of the characteristics of the program and the attitudes of participants toward them. The organization and management of the program are discussed.
