This report summarizes the sixth year of a longitudinal study of the graduates of the Tennessee Technological University's teacher education program. The procedures and methodology of the research model developed by the University are explained, and data for 1978 graduates are presented, analyzed, and compared with data from all first-year graduates from 1974-1977. A comparison of two select groups of teachers across a five-year period, based on principal evaluation, student evaluation, and observational techniques, is presented. Normative information pertinent to the findings of this in-progress research is discussed. An appendix of reports and studies related to the University's teacher education programs is included. (LH)
