Family Crisis Intervention Program. Clark County, Washington.
Anderson, Patricia S.; And Others
This guide documents cost effective methods of providing community-based alternative court intervention services to youth. The service program was designed to assist adolescent status offenders and their families in resolving the underlying problems which bring the youths to the attention of the juvenile system. A Family Crisis Intervention Center is described which focuses on family crisis intervention, the volunteer staff qualifications, recruitments and training, client intake, therapy session procedures and management information for adapting the model. Appendices provide an organization flow chart, complete job description qualifications, contact person information, and case study examples. Although the model was designed to be geograhpically specific, it can serve as a model elsewhere. (Author/BMW)
