This teacher-training module examines the role of energy in changing cultural contexts. It is intended to assist the teacher in understanding the nature and uses of various conventional and nonconventional energy resources. Also examined are dimensions of energy policy making, implications of differing means of energy delivery in terms of technical efficiency, environmental impact, and social impact. (Author/RE)
