Results indicated when girls were compared to boys that girls: (1) have earlier plans for marriage; (2) showed lower level of work-study aspirations; (3) perceived their parents and boyfriend to hold lower work-study aspirations for them; (4) showed more non-traditional attitudes toward women; and (5) had lower resultant achievement motivation, stronger need for affiliation, and keener sensitivity to rejection.
